@ admin. If tatasky gets 12Tps, then it is going shift completely from Insat4a or will use both satellite. In the case of using both satellite (Insat4a 83 east & Gsat10 45 east), different position, how will you receive channels from both satellite. Even if you use mono block LNB, is it possible to catch both satellite. I feel it is very difficult as both satellite are not near as in dishtv. please clarify me.:huh

No nskaranbro its not on 45, it will co-locate with insat 4A ON 83.E.

no brother Gsat 10 will be place at 83 e along with insat 4a . the total ku band will be 12+12=24 which will be utilized by tata sky

and gsat 10 will be place at 83 deg east
while gsat 8 is place at 55 deg east not 45

no need of monoblock lnb your current lnb can catch this both sat
just a fine tuning require no need to change the dish postition

currently horizontal polarisation is active on insat 4a ku band
they may activate vertical polarisation for gsat 10 ,

But till it is mistrey that how many ku band lease by tata sky? As all we know there are 12 ku band tp but there is any planning to use H and V polarity? Can it 24 ku band? [chances are high because of that satellite is high power i.e. 6 kw. High power as compare to any indian satellite]

it is still not confirmed that GSAT-10 will be used by Tata sky.

it is also not confirmed that all 12 ku band tps will be hired by Tata sky. it is all rumors.

if they really take we will come to know within end of Oct'12.

It's 100% sure, Tatasky use all 12 Tp, it's @ 83 *, so no other can use it, so don't worry.
