what will be the impact of GST on broadband & dth

can someone give answers

I am using

airtel dth & broadband

will the price go up or down

Prices going up..
Currently cumulative taxes amount to about 15%
from July 1 it's gonna be 18%

Currently, these services attract an entertainment tax in states in the range of 10-30 per cent over and above the service tax levy of 15 per cent. But the GST Council has finalised 18 per cent tax rate on cable TV and Direct-To-Home (DTH) services.

No reduce in price @ the same time no price hike for sometime as per auditor & tax experts

But don't know the reality what dth network may do

as per i know entertainment tax in different states also differs so i guess after gst we will see uniform monthly plans for all customers across india ... hopefully we ROI customers get real good packages as south customers ( sometimes i envy ) already have

I personally feel airtel dth will not reduce prices of basepacks but they would add existing channels to respective base packs, means more channels will be available at existing prices.
