HD Quality Comparsion

Hi Friends:

I am new to this forum, I have a Samsung flagship Smart TV ES8000, 46" Full HD / 3D LED TV

I'm looking to upgrade from present Den Digitial Set top box to HD STB and have researched a bit on the internet to check which HD STB service is the best , getting more confused than answers.

My prime reason to upgrade will be to watch HD channels, Videocon is offering the most (22 HD channels at the moment). That said, I have heard Airtel HD is better both in PQ.

Another concern is after installation support, I have heard videocon is behind Airtel and Tata sky , is this true?

Kindly advice which service to opt for taking into consideration my TV is 46" LED, will there be a difference in HD channel quality comparing videocon to Airtel.

Dish tv is the best option beacause dish tv give highest 26 hd channels and give good aq and pq too.

Hd channels in D2h is comparitively good but SD channels are aswsome in Reliance dth.

Trust me Dish Tru Hd's Hd Channels PQ is even best on a 50 Inch LED or LCD Tv compare to any Dth operator in India. But Negative points of Dish Tru hd's are:
1. No Espn HD, Star Cricket Hd and Star sport 2 = so not good option for Hd Cricket Lovers and Football Lovers.
2. Dolby Sound only Avialable in 1 channel Movies Now Hd.
3. Worse PQ on some SD channels like Ten Sports, Star Sports .... Etc.
4. Dish Tvs Sd and Hd Setboxs are really outdated with poor Quality feel like Chinese brand

But Dish tv also have many Positives Points too
1. Best PQ on Full Hd Channels even you wont notice any pixles on a 50 inch Tv.
2. Maximum Hd channels Around 26 Full Hd Channels and some Upgraded to Mp4 Hd channels which look better than Sd channels.
3. All most Every Channel is available on Dish Tv platform except some Star India Owned Channels.
4. Dish tv is the only Future Proof Dth operator in India who can add many more Hd or Sd channel where has all other Dths operators in India are struggling with their satellite Space Problems.

Now second best option would be Airtel .
