but one thing, if you are putting extra ku lnbs on the existing setup you will not get badr. lnb holders for ku lnbs available easily. but other extended rods may not be available readily...

Dear Experts,

Today I came with different question. Can anyone please guide me how to add Powervu keys? I have sony channels and I want to unscramble using powervu keys. Please guide me where i can find active keys and any chance to succeed?

When doing blind scan/auto scan I get same channels repeated several times. Any shortcut to avoid repeated channels?

Presume you are taking about c-band channels. set your lnb frequency to 5150-5750. then scan.. channels will not repeat.

For powervu channels your receiver must support powervu. If you have a Starsat hyper 2000 , it will support powervu.

My receiver is ECHO EC-444 Tiny.
I think it supports PowerVu. I found a menu in settings "Patch". Inside I found different keys already there by pressing right arrow key. I tried to input PowerVu keys ECM keys found in a website for Sony Network. But Sony channels are still "Scrambled". The frequency details given in the forum was IS-17@66° E 3825V30000. But my receiver shows different freq. I tried to input same code for 3825V30000 freq as well as the freq.shows in my receiver. But no success. Any advise?

your receiver channel frequency will be 3225 V 30000, as you have set lnb frequency as 5150. Not much idea about powervu, because i didn't purchase a powervu support receiver.

May be GSSRAN bro can help you in that topic as I presume he is having a receiver with Powervu support.
