When Arasu can start their own Tasmac shops, own vegetable shops, own food shops and own water bottle company and shops to sell those water cans why cant their start their own cable operators directly or indirectly employed under ration-shops?

When the same street can have any number vegetable shops, tuck shops, fast food shops and every single other shops why cant it have multiple cable operators? From when did India started to promote monopolist in a particular business?

Arasu has to reach out to people by any means to serve the people or at-least inform people that they cant reach them so people can at-least get the full service of what ever MSO is available to them or move to some DTH at the earliest. Arasu has wasted 3 years of Chennai people's valuable time.

It cause cable operator to file against arasu . arasu cable give new operator licence. Cable operator association form a meeting and write against arasu cable

Arasu if it wants to serve the people then it has to everything possible to reach the people, any reasons would be just a lame excuse.

Hope we get Arasu at-least after this election is over.

Arasu Cable is formed to oppose and threaten SUN TV. They should understand the basic principles. They told that last end village operator will be guarded. But as per rule MSO should install OFC cable and give connection to LCO's. Did Arasu cable do this?
Also TRAI has not yet confirmed the difference between town LCO's and Village LCO's.
Village LCO's are suffering a lot in maintaining the network. If digital comes then olny the problem will be solved.

We the common public has no idea on what issues the LCO's are facing and even if we know we wont care as we cant understand the real issues going between the MSO and LCO.

It is not the MSO but the LCO's who are collecting the subscription charges from the public, so it is the duty of the LCO's to serve what the public wants.

Even if the entire Chennai goes to Arasu my LCO will never move and wont go DAS under current MSO either even if people want pay channels and will continue to keep people in dark age analogue so he can enjoy with what ever collection he is making, so why should i care what issue my LCO is facing.

Unless the LCO's try to understand people's problem the people wont bother to understand LCO's problems and the day will come where most people move to DTH and the LCO's become history.

RE: Does Arasu really wants to serve Chennai??

Elections are over in TN and we are waiting for the result and Arasu serving Chennai is still a million dollar question.

If Arasu keeps waiting for a DAS like usual and if the new government takes a longer time to even to think about DAS license then it would take a long long time to even hear about Arasu.

SCV has increased its DAS subscribtion.
TCCL has introduced HD STB.

What has Arasu done in Chennai till date??

Looks like AIADMK would get at-least 30 - 35 seats in this election, would we get Arasu this week itself?

Yes, looks like too much expectation for me too.

But with the current union government gone out of power and the ruling AIADMK getting almost 100% seats in the TN state what or who is actually there to stop Arasu from going analogue in Chennai?

Also if Arasu offers STB at small or no price with DAS package lesser then Rs 180 or 200 and if people are ready to go DAS immediately can TRAI effectively stop it with Madras HC already supporting Arasu?
