Long HDMI cables does not affect the picture quality if they are well built under certain circumstances. I'm a hdmi cables importer and we have hdmi cables of 100mtrs also. I'm not promoting my myself here but just giving an idea that long cables are available and work in the same way as a single mtr cable works.
