Pulimurugan's 3D Version To Hit The Theatres In April.

It was on October 7, 2016 that Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan hit the theatres. Recently, the makers of the film did go on to celebrate the 150 days of run as well as the movie's entrance to the 150-Crore mark.

There was a special announcement which was made during the event that was attended by the entire team of Pulimurugan and other guests. The makers of the movie confirmed that the 3D version of Pulimurugan will be out in the month of April.

Interestingly, the team had also screened the special trailer of the 3D version of Pulimurugan, during the success party. All the special guests were provided with 3D glasses to watch the trailer of Pulimurugan 3D version.

Pulimurugan, directed by Vysakh has now almost all the big box office records under its belt. The film, which is one of the most technically brilliant Malayalam films ever, would definitely be an interesting watch in the 3D version, as well.

If Pulimurugan 3D version hits the theatres in April, it would definitely give a tough competition to other major Malayalam movie releases of the Vishu season, which include films of stars like Mammootty, Dulquer Salmaan, Mohanlal, Fahadh faasil, Dileep etc.

Ezra Box office: The Prithviraj Starrer Joins The 30-Crore Club.

Ezra, which released on February 10, 2017, is now turning out to be one of the most successful films of its genre in Malayalam films. There were much specualtions regarding the box office collections of the movie and now the makers have officially announced the latest box office collection of the movie.

The film, which has completed 23 days of its run in the theatres in Kerala, has grossed 28.33 Crores from Kerala alone. The latest box office report of Ezra was updated through the Facebook page of the movie.

The worldwide box office collection of Ezra is not available but by all means the film might have crossed the 30-Crore mark. Earlier, it was updated that the movie had made a gross collection of 1.57 from Rest Of India, within 3 days of its run.

Add to it the box office collections from overseas centres, the film would have easily sailed across the 30-Crore mark. Ezra has been doing a grand business in overseas centres, as well.

Earlier, Prithviraj movies like Amar Akbar Anthony, Ennu Ninte Moideen etc., also entered the 30-Crore club. Now, we have to wait and see to know whether Ezra will enter the coveted 50-Crore club or not.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol Box Office: Detail Collection Report.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol, the family entertainer is the fourth Mohanlal movie to enter the 50-Crore club. The trade experts recently revealed the detailed box office collection report of the movie, directed by Jibu Jacob.

As per the reports, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has made a total gross collection of about 31 Crores, from the Kerala box office. The Mohanlal movie has collected about 3 Crores from the releasing centres of rest of the India.

From the UAE and GCC releasing centres, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has made a total gross collection of 8.90 Crores. The total collection from the USA, UK and rest of the world countries is around 3.50 Crores.

Thus, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol has made a total gross collection of 46.50 Crores from the worldwide box office. When the satellite, audio, and overseas rights have been considered, the movie has already crossed the 50-Crore mark.

Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol is the third consecutive Mohanlal movie to enter the 50-Crore club, after Oppam and Pulimurugan. The movie, which stars Meena in the female lead, is Mohanlal's first release of 2017.

Nivin Pauly's Sakhavu Gets A Release Date.

Sakhavu, the much-awaited Nivin Pauly starrer, has finally got a release date. The political drama which is directed by actor turned National award-winning director Sidhartha Siva, will hit the theatres on April 14th, Vishu day.The movie, which will be the first release of Nivin Pauly in 2017, is one of the highly anticipated upcoming Malayalam projects of the year. Nivin will essay the central character Krishna Kumar, a communist follower in Sakhavu.It is the first outing of Nivin and Sidhartha Siva as an actor-director duo. Sidhartha has earlier shared the screen with Nivin in the 2012-released movie Puthiya Theerangal, directed by senior film-maker Sathyan Anthikad.

Sakhavu, which is said to be an intense political drama, depicts the story of student leader Krishna Kumar and how his life changes after a medical college visit. Mohanlal-B Unnikrishnan Movie Gets A Title.

Mohanlal, the complete actor is joining hands with B Unnikrishnan once again, for his next directorial venture. The actor revealed the title and first look poster of the movie recently, through his official Facebook page.

Interestingly, the highly anticipated movie has been titled as Villain. As per the reports, Villain, which comes with the tagline 'good is bad', is an out-and-out thriller which wil have a slight touch of action.

The promising first look poster features lead actor Mohanlal in his much-talked salt n pepper look. Expectations are riding high on Villain, as the first look poster has already created a stir on social media.

Pulimurugan fame stunt choreographer Peter Hein is choreographing a special stunt sequence for Mohanlal in the movie. The rest of the action sequences have been choreographed by Stunt Silva.

Villain will mark the Mollywood debut of popular young Tamil actor Vishal. According to the sources, the talented actor is playing a grey-shaded role in the movie, which is scripted by Unnikrishnan, himself.

Biju Menon-Shafi Movie Gets An Interesting Title.

Earlier, it was reported that film-maker Shafi's next film would be with actor Biju Menon. Now, here is an interesting update on this upcoming movie, which is expected to hit the theatres in 2017 itself.Reportedly, the makers of the film have zeroed in on the title of the movie as Sherlock Toms. The movie has its story by Ordinary fame Najeem Koya, who had also penned the story of Shafi's previous venture Two Countries.

Nothing much has been revealed about the movie or Biju Menon's character in the film. Interestingly, the film will have its script jointly written by Shafi, Najeem Koya and scenarist-turned-director Sachy. Reportedly, Sherlock Toms will be produced by the renowned banner Global United Media.

Sherlock Toms would mark the fifth association of Biju Menon and Shafi. Nivin Pauly's Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela: Release Delayed.

Nivin Pauly, the young actor is turning producer once again with the upcoming family entertainer Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela. Nivin himself essays the lead role in the movie, which is directed by Premam fame Althaf Salim.

Earlier, it was reported that Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela is slated to hit the theatres for Vishu 2017. But as per the latest reports, the much-awaited movie will not hit the theatres anytime soon.
