Dulquer to do a guest role in Dhansika starrer.

Actor Dulquer Salmaan has never shied away from playing a cameo role so far, and his character in Ann Mariya Kalippilanu is proof enough of that. According to sources, he will don a guest role again, this time in a Tamil film.

It is reported that he will be seen in a film, directed by Ramana, in which Dhansika plays the protagonist. The film is not titled yet, and will be made in both Tamil and Telugu. However, a confirmation is yet to come from the actor.

Dulquer's last Tamil movie was 'OK Kanmani', and it had managed to strike a chord with the audience.

'Ayal Jeevichirippunde' in theaters.

'Ayal Jeevichirippunde', the debut directorial venture of Vyasan K P, script writer and producer, hits theaters.

The movie narrates the friendship between John Mathew Mathen, a famous writer, and Murukan, a fisherman, played by Vijay Babu and Manikantan respectively

Marathi actress Namrata Gaikwad is the heroine. Kishore Satya, Sudheer Karamana, Harish Peradi, Chali Pala, Majeed, Gokul, Prasad Kannan, Mahesh, V K Baiju, Tesni Khan, and Aysha Rani also include the main cast.

National award winner Hari Nair is the cinematographer. Ouseppachen is the music director. 'Ayal Jeevichirippunde' is produced under the banner 44 Films.

Santhosh Aechikkanam to script for Suraj Venjarammoodu.

Santhosh Aechikkanam's new film is about the drought affected remote village of Paruthippully. The movie will be directed by debutant Sabah. Suraj Venjarammoodu plays the lead role of Subrahmanyan.

Subrahmanyan is a hotel owner in the village who gives great value in saving water and gives warning to the villagers about the chances of the coming draught and its aftereffects. But no one cares.

Palaghat is the main location. The untitled movie is produced by Junaid under the banner of Raindrops Films.

Happy Wedding director Omar Lulu to team up with King Liar producer next.

Happy Wedding director Omar Lulu's career graph is on the upswing. The filmmaker, who is currently busy shooting for Chunkzz, will next team up with King Liar producer Ouseppachan for his third directorial.
The director tells us, "The movie will also have newcomers in the lead." The film which is based on the lives of Standard XII students and will have four heroes and two heroines. The director will begin shooting by September.

His current film Chunkzz, which has Vishak Nair, Balu Varghese, Honey Rose and Mareena Michael, will be a July release. The director is also planning to helm the Hindi remake of Happy Wedding.

Jomon T John to produce Major Ravi’s movie with Nivin Pauly in the lead.

Cinematographer Jomon T John is turning producer and that too for a big movie, directed by Major Ravi with Nivin Pauly in the lead.

The film, which is expected to go on floors by the end of this year, is co-produced by Jomon and Major Ravi. The movie is based on a true story and will be of the romance genre.

Jomon and the director had earlier collaborated in the Prithviraj starrer Picket 43. The team is currently on the lookout for a fresh face to play the female protagonist in the movie. Major Ravi's next release will be Mohanlal's war drama 1971: Beyond Borders. Meanwhile, Nivin is all set for the release of his movie Sakhaavu. The actor will also star in a romantic film Hey Jude, which is directed by Shyamaprasad and has Trisha in as the female proa.

Dileep's Georgettan's Pooram Postponed By Two Days.


Georgettan's Pooram, starring Dileep in the lead role is gearing up to be one of the biggest releases of this upcoming vacation season. The movie, directed by K Biju, is expected to be a one in the lines of a perfect entertainer.

Earlier, Georgettan's Pooram was expected to hit the theatres on March 30, 2016. But, now the makers of the film have decided to postpone the release date by two days and now the film hit the theatres on April 1, 2017.

Initially, March 31, 2017 was declared as the release date of the film. Later, there came reports that Georgettan's Pooram will hit the theatres on March 30, 2017 along with Mammootty starrer The Great Father.

Now, Georgettan's Pooram will have a solo release on April 1, 2017, which is a Saturday. But definitely, the film will have to face a stiff competition from Mammootty's The Great Father, which is gearing up for a big release worldwide.

The first song of Georgettan's Pooram was released recently and it opened to a grand reception. Apart from Dileep, the film also features Rajisha Vijayan, Vinay Forrt, Sharafudheen, Renji Panicker, Chemban Vinod Jose etc., in important roles.

Prithviraj To Team Up With Roopesh Peethambaran

Prithviraj the talented is all set to join hands with actor-director Roopesh Peethambaran. Director Roopesh recently confirmed that he is working on the script of his next project, which stars Prithviraj in the lead role.Even though the director didn't open up much about the project, he revealed that the project will not start rolling anytime soon. Roopesh first approached Prithviraj for the project in 2015, but the actor turned down the offer citing date issues.But the director stated that he is ready to wait for the actor, after which he agreed to go through the script.

Prithviraj finished the script reading within one week, and informed Roopesh that he is impressed with the story.

However, the actor put forward a few suggestions regarding the script, for which the director agreed. Roopesh is currently re-working on the script and is planning to kickstart the project whenever Prithviraj is free.
