Dileep's Georgettan's Pooram Postponed Again.
Georgettan's Pooram, the upcoming comical entertainer is supposed to be the first release of Dileep in 2017. But as per the latest updates, the much-awaited movie might not hit the theatres anytime soon.
As per the latest updates, Georgettan's Pooram, which was slated to release on March 31st, Friday, has been postponed to April. Reportedly, the team has decided to release the movie as Dileep's Vishu release.
According to some sources close to the project, Georgettan's Pooram team is not so keen to have a box office clash with The Great Father, the upcoming Mammootty movie which hits the theatres on March 30th.
If the reports are to be true, the recent controversies surrounding Dileep has also been a reason for the makers to postponed the release of the movie. The new release date is expected to be revealed soon.
Georgettan's Pooram, which is the second directorial venture of Dr Love fame Biji K, revolves around the titular character George, the spoiled son of a pastor. Dileep appears as George in the movie.
Rajisha Vijayan essays the female lead opposite Dileep in the movie, which is scripted by YV Rajesh. Georgettan's Pooram is produced by Ajay Gosh, Bejoy Chandran, and Shivanee Suraj for Chand V Creations and Shivani Entertainments.

Honey Bee 2 Release Date Is Out.
Honey Bee 2, the upcoming film of Jean Paul Lal,which is also the sequel to the superhit film Honey Bee, is all set to hit the theatres soon.
Earlier, there were reports doing the rounds that the film might hit the theatres in the month of March. Now, the makers have finally zeroed in on the release date of the movie.
Reportedly, Honey Bee 2 will hit the theatres on March 23, 2017, which is a Thursday. The team did also reveal the latest poster of the movie, which carries the release date of the film, as well.
Honey Bee 2 features Asif Ali, Bhavana, Lal, Baburaj, Balu Varghese, Sreenath Bhasi, Sreenivasan, Lena, Suresh Krishna, Arya etc., in prominent roles. The film has its script written by the director himself.
Earlier, the makers did release a promo song of the film, which featured most of the actors of the movie in it. The song and its picturisation did go on well with the audiences and was a hit on Youtube.
There are no other films which have been slated for release on March 23, 2017. The film is expected to good business in the upcoming vacation season, as well.

Young actor Tovino Thomas is all set to impress the audiences with the exciting projects that he has in his kitty. The actor's Oru Mexican Aparatha has hit the theatres today and he also has one more biggie scheduled for release in the first half of 2017.
Tovino Thomas's next big release will be Godha, directed by Basil Joseph. Now, reports are doing the rounds that the movie might hit the theatres in May 2017. Actor Tovino Thomas himself revealed this during an exclusive interview given to Manorama Online.
Earlier, the movie was planned as a February release and the first posters of the movie suggested the same. But later, they had to push forward the dates owing to the theatre strike.

Prithviraj starrer Ezra, is clearly in the race to become one of the biggest hits of this year, so far. The movie, which released on February 10, 2017 in Kerala, is still doing a good business at the box office.
According to the certain unconfirmed reports, the film has went on to cross the 25-Crore mark at the box office. Reportedly, after 20 days of run, the box office collection of Ezra stands at 26.80 Crores.
Well, Ezra is nearing 25 days of its run in Kerala theatres and sailing ahead smoothly despite the flurry of new releases.
Ezra, had a fantastic start at the box office and the movie did go on to fetch approximately 2.61 Crores on its opening day.
Earlier, there came reports that the film had touched the 20-Crore mark within the first 10 days of its release. The film did hit the markets outside Kerala on February 17, 2017 and from the rest of the parts of India, Ezra did manage to gross 1.57 Crores within 3 days of its run.

It seems like biopics are trending in Mollywood. After the recently announced biopic based on the life of Kamala Das, Malayalam film industry is all set to witness another biopic.Reportedly, a biopic based on the life of popular poetess Sugathakumari is being planned and actress Asha Sharath has been roped in to play the lead role in the film.
The upcoming biopic has been titled as Pavizhamally and the film will be directed by debutant Suresh Manimala, who is also a music director. The film will have its script penned by the director himself.According to the reports, Asha Sharath will portray a character named Parvathy teacher in the movie and the makers won't be using the original name of Sugathakumari. The upcoming film is said to be based on the certain incidents from Sugathakumari's life. The film is expected to go on floors by April.
