I was expecting Viacom 18's crazy new names last month to be renamed this month, 'MyCam' and 'TheOffice', at least one to Colors Super HD. Kannada's biggest reality show Bigg Boss Season 5 will be on air soon and as per sources, Colors Super will broadcast it instead of Colors Kannada. I was hoping Viacom 18 would launch Colors Super HD soon.

Is colors super successful as much as colors kannada?

The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (MIB) has permitted 10 new TV channel licences between 10 August and 5 September. Nine out of the 10 licences were issued in August while one licence was issued in September.

Cinema 24×7, a company linked to TV shopping and e-commerce company Naaptol, got seven non-news uplinking licences.

Media Worldwide, the company that runs a clutch of music channels, got a non-news uplinking for Bangla Talkies.

Chennai Murasu got a news uplinking licence for Malai Murasu Seithikal. The company is part of the media group that publishes Tamil newspapers ‘Daily Thanthi’ and ‘Malai Murasu’ besides news channels Thanthi TV and Malai Murasu TV.

Bhopal-based Asnani Builders and Developers got a news uplinking licence for Anaadi TV.

Is colors super successful as much as colors kannada?

At this moment it is not, but Viacom is trying to make is bigger by shifting Bigg Boss from Colors Kannada to Colors Super.
Last season, they had aired a spin-off for Bigg Boss named as 'Bigg Boss Night Shift' on Colors Super. Also, the show was extended by 14 days and was exclusively aired on Colors Super for these 14 days. The grand finale was simulcast on Colors Kannada, Colors Kannada HD and Colors Super.

This is bad news for me.Music Channel shut down.After Channel V reverting to old ways 2 music channels will go.Also PEN was to start their 3 music channels in August-17 no news of Mtunes HD and 2 other music channels going on air.
