They Replaced my box. I dont understand they didnt even try to check the problem. The Tech came , Switched on the box , once he confirm the issue i am facing, he immediately replaced my box. Then why he is called as technician. All my recording which is around 80% are gone.

But he said it is brand new. Is it? Because it was in sealed box and looked very new.!!!!!

They charged me 500rs. Is this price right? or am i over priced.

500rs for brand new hd dvr is fine, as they have included service charge too in it I think.

I doubt they will replace old DVR with new. May be old, repaired, refurbished & properly packed.
It looks as good as new. But in case if you got new DVR then its vey good as they may not be having refurbished DVR in stock.

If old repaired or refurbished stb not available then they all give brand new stb.

Rs500 is fine.

As AMC is rs399, so just 100 extra.

But replacement stb won't be given any additional warranty
