Yes dude,its correct
automatic recoding channel deletion policy has three option

Disk Space,
On Expiry
None

When On Expiry Selected - it can be set from 7 days to 365 Days
I changed to 365 Days

Software of hd dvr is with some bugs
Mainly hd channels there's freezing unless you force dvr to out put @50hz
