Query on 5.1 Audio Gear Digital Sound Decoder..???

Hi pgsujith,
I have Sun direct hd box and audio gear decoder. I try to connect stb to optical in put of decoder. I connected everthing properly. But I couldnt get 5.1 effect in speakers.Rear speakets are not working. I think decoder not decoding AC3 Dolby Digital signal of sun direct. How it works for u, pls help?

Just check if the channel, you are watching, is in 5.1 Dolby format.

Hi , I change the stb audio setting to AC3. Also I selected Star Movies channel in sun hd. So it has Dolby Digital Signal. But I dono why it didnt give 5.1effect sound.
