The common passwords mentioned in the following two posts could be outdated. But you could try them out anyway. Let us know what happens. If it works, it could help others.

For SUN DTH log in user name is your smart card number and password is password .In case
you change the password then forget then call customer care they will reset it .
set top box password default password is 0000 if you changed and forget the passwords are as follows
HOME CAST 3749
COS HIP 7391
SAMSUNG 1163
OPENTEC 0937

common password of sundirect stb:
Sun direct stb common password given below;

HOMECAST 3749
COSHIP 7391
SAMSUNG 1163
OPENTECH 0937

If your STB is lock pls use above password
