RS 232 cable

Friends - i have purchased one RS 232 cable - usb 2.0 one end, other end male, later on i arranged one gender converter for making it female other end, because the receiver's connection is male end. now the problem is i cannot connect the cable. see the pictures for real problem. anybody can suggest any idea instead of going for another cable with female end.

is it removable ? i think it is permanently fixed ? i tried manually without success. only a nut driver can advise whether it can removed or not ?

no need nuts you will remove.
or make new rs 232 cable.

thanks bro for the above fig. in the meantime tried with a nut driver of 5mm, it unscrewed the hex nut portion. so now it is ok to connect, this cable i got along with a cd also. now i have to try it for a receiver which is not working due to software issue. Receiver model is Technosat TS 1200 HD. currently manufacturer site is under construction/repair.

tried with RS 232 female - USB cable, getting Com errors. tried various com options, but no success..
