The problem people have with Dubbed content is visible. Max airs dubbed content because they know Bollywood movies don't fetch TRP. There are mostly 10 good movies in Bollywood Every year. But in South industries there is equally bad as well as good movies. Before Sony Goldmines had a very strong relationship with Zee but Zee refused to air dubbed content since they had dubbing rights to various movies. Star and Sony saw this as a potential, since people were bored watching 90s cinema all day and then dubbed movies started airing. The huge success of Robot and Sivaji in the Hindi belt made people realize dubbed content is emerging. With Bahubali and KGF the level of South Indian cinema has gone high. There are many good dubbed movies which are aired on Maxyeah.. I don't like Goldmines' Dubbing... it's so poor
and they use the same voice actor (Sanket Mhatre) for the lead role in every movie
i prefer watching in Original language with english subtitles
eg Sethupathi, Chi La Sow (Arjun ki Dulhania) (National Award winner), Sathamama Bhavati (S/o Krishnamoorthy)(National Award winner) , Ko , Thani Oruvan (Double Attack 2), U Turn , these movies reach out to rural audiences and hindi speaking states. Star is the perfect network which manages too keep the balance between Dubbed and Bollywood content. The only fact I hate about star that it shows the same movie twice in the Same week eg Stree, Judwaa 2,Baaghi 2,Son of sardaar etc there are many examples.
except last week's Kesari every top rated film is aired on Max this week KGF topped the ratings for Max.
