But we don’t know right whether it was the economics or airtime which led to yrf Sony deal ending?
So unless we are aware of the facts , how can we make such a big claim and think what we say is the only truth and everything else false.

It is my opinion based on keen observations....both might have lead to ending of agreement

Sorry for that but still TOH can't b the reason. Losses or Profits r part of the game. YRF would have surely been accomodative but scheduling and inapt screening of films should have been a concern. Also Sony has gained so much profit from big YRF films too so 1 film flopping can b sustained by big broadcaster like them.
Thugs Of Hindostan is quite a nice film and like Baaghi 2 or 3 can work on satellite but again not aired properly to generate audience interest

It is poetic that the director probably responsible for sony yrf relationship breaking is the one whose movie is the first to telecast amongst library yrf films.
If thugs of hindostan hadnt bombed the way it did, perhaps sony yrf relationship wouldnt have broken and thats what prevented sony from committing insane amounts on big budget movies when yrf was planning a big budget movie marathon to celebrate its anniversary. The same director's Dhoom 3 is the first movie to telecast on star.

Vijay Krishna Acharya is worst as a director he ruined the dhoom series's legacy and even he rip off POTC by making Thugs the only good thing Vijay Krishna Acharya did was the writing stories in some memorable shows like just mohabbat and shaka laka boom boom

Gunjan Saxena was produced by Netflix itself. Satellite rights are with Zee Cinema.

Major satellite rights sold for 10 crs. Some sources say that Sony has taken the rights. Digital not sold yet

Bro , I agree with your most of points regarding profit or loss doesnt get affect much only from one film but i disagree with your later point regarding TOH

Thugs of Hindostan movie - they have mostly copied scenes from Pirates of the Caribbean and wasted so much money on creating hype and creating realistic effect on ships but didn't worked much on their storyline , Aamir khan character is copied directly from jack sparrow. they expected something different from the movie considering AK as known as perfectionist , but due to improper storyline film becomes boring and unrealistic film scene or logic applied in film doesn't help , they copied scenes prematurely. at max people can watch the movie only once there is not much repetition value to rewatch it again .

Pirates of the Caribbean movie- all previous 4 movies were dubbed in Hindi with good voice actors which makes viewers feel as if they are watching original hindi hollywood movie doesnt feel like they are watching a hindi dubbed movie. when one watches a good movie with good storyline and interesting characters and with some logic they became fa of it. these pirates of caribbean movie dubbed in hindi were reaired repeatedly in 2010-2012 in utv action or utv movies. even when watches it in between the movie when changing the channel viewers ends up watching the remaining movie of carribean.

the most majority of tv viewers would have watched pirates of carribean they would expect atleast some uniqueness from Indian indirect adaption when they dont get it they would not want to watch it again. only Amitabh sir acted somewhat good in Toh movie. in 2017 previous year salazar movie was released which made difficult fir indian inspired film to make better impacts in 2018 even with all the hype. i guess thats why sony decided not to air much TOH movie as they did during it premier.

It was not the reason. TOH released in 2016...war did much later. Such strong relationships r not so weak to b damaged by one film. The reasons i mentioned contributed to exit and star/disney was ready with a good offer. Sony gave max airings to select YRF films but others were left behind

Sony still promoted War, Sandeep and Pinky Faraar and Mardaani 2 Robustly on their channels. So relationships is not damaged. I think the separation is amicable since SPN is not ready to pay huge amounts of money for satellite. I think after the period with Disney-Star ends Sony will get YRF again

Sony has got Saina, Sardar Ka Grandson, Sherni and now Haseen Dillruba with Bell Bottom coming soon. Hopefully when they premiere, they will not be ignored after the first 5 airings or so.

Saina will get good TRP , Sherni may be ignored, Sardar Ka Grandson may or may not work. Haseen Dilruba will work initially and Mumbai Saga and Bell Bottom will be the real winners
