Venus Hungama 2 and Tips Films Bhoot Police also Star Acquired, I have a Strong hope that Star/Disney renewed Selected some movies of Both production houses, Another Big Production House Dharma Productions Some old movies renewal expecting to Star from effect of Brahmastra Release, I'm why expecting Dharma movies moving to Star/Disney because last 6 months SOTY and Agneepath 2012 not renewed by any broadcaster Zee, SPN and Dharma's old exclusive Partner Viacom too

Losing IPL was a benefit for Sony. Yes, Sony’s pre-show coverage (Extraaa Innings T20) was far better than Star’s. But this meant Sony has a greater budget to allocate to other sports and major events like Euro, Copa and Olympics. For Star on the other hand the IPL is a huge liability at times. Star Sports barely shows anything except cricket and some football.

Hindi Movies is a gain for Star and a loss for Sony (especially YRF). But for sports, Sony wins and Star loses badly.

Financially or as far as virwership is concerned star/disney is at good place as far as sports channels is concerned while Sony with niche sports offering finds it difficult to match up but from viewer point of view i agree any network which does not get big cricket rights can offer wide variety of sports and benefits us. I feel somehow sports broadcasters should maintain a balance and viewers should also support non cricket sports in equal manner then only it will b best situation

Since March Star Gold was No. 1 on continuos basis and Star Gold 2 was in Top 5 too...this applies to overall, pay, urban, rural markets (star gold only pay ch present in this) and in rural or free dish Star Utsav Movie is No. 2 after Dhinchaak. Sony Max is behind Star Gold while Max 2 and Wah r behind Star Gold 2 and SUM

2. Star Sports Has Always Got More TRP Than Sony Sports Bcoz Star Has IPL, Rights Of India's Home Matches, ICC Events & Star Gives More Priority Only To The Most Popular Sports In India (Cricket & Football)

3. In DDFD, SUM Gets More TRP Than Sony Wah, Zee Anmol Cinema & Rishtey Cineplex Every Week Bcoz SUM Has More Variety Than The Rest 3

Even I agree to this. Sony is a very good network but it has been slipping in ratings. Although Bollywood Films are increased Star offers more number of channels and that too at a lower price. Star Movie Channels have less price while Zee Channels have high. So Sony has to buck up and buy maximum content. Although most of their investment is now focusing in OTT and sports, Sony should keep a slightly higher budget for Bollywood in the coming years.
