Same situation was with star india before since disney fox star acquired star india it's doing quite well hope their will be some miracle will happen for SPN..when time changes everything changes.

I remember that time, most of star network hindi movie aired dubbed south indian movies all day and i used to complaint regarding this thru twitter... All tweets still on my timeline. I continuously requested them that air more older bollywood films from 80's to mid 2000's and even bring in classics and it will surely increase ratings....slowly things started improving and after disney took over now things r just fabulous....i meam there is not a single week when many older films are not getting acquired and ratings have jumped up
Same thing i had been requesting Sony for long but not observed any improvement...people think that i criticise them unnecessarily without knowing that i really want them to do well. I can watch all films on YouTube or OTT but when i send feedback to channels it is to help larger audience who does not have access to internet or OTT and TV serves as biggest entertainment source.
Just to mention Zee has been okayish as far as implementation of feedback is concerned but done lot better than Sony

Sony's exchange policy continues but this time they are in loss.
YRF is exchanged in favor of Ramesh Sippy Films
While Suresh Productions is exchanged on favor of BR. Both contribute well to Max 2 but not much on main channels.
Sholay , Tohfa and Shaan will be the big gains for SPN but losing DDLJ, DTPH , Mohabbatein is a big big loss

Sholay gives very high ratings whenever aired on Star/disney hindi movie chs particularly Star Utsav Movies...i think it will b renewed. Most of other sippy films which sony got can b thru library company agreement but major films might stay with disney/star....Bluffmaster, Taxi No. 9211 been with star/disney since beginning

With YRF to Disney-Star finally SRK films get equal footing on all Networks. SRK's Veer Zaara, Chak De India, Fan , Jab Tak Hai Jaan (aired on Max UK in June as well as aired in April on Max) time being are with Sony. I think Sony has kept selected movies for themselves but giving most of the library to Star.

These all r 100% shifting...Chak De India repeated so many times on Max or Wah in last few days...Veer Zara too is being aired often like Rab Ne Banaa Ji Jodi. Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a niche film which does not get ratings and will silently shift...Fan will shift next yr as i am seeing 7 yr expiration cycle for YRF films

Akshay Kumar, Govinda Sir films r super hits on TV...even i watch them time and again...tremendous repeat value. Also good to see Zee expanding Zee Bollywood library which had become too repetitive since year or so
