When was the last time anything premiered on UTV? It's same as Zee Bollywood. A useless addition. Once in a while they got good movie. Otherwise it's same old, same old.
I think in Bollywood Jagga Jasoos had its World Television Premiere on UTV Movies back in October 2017 . In Hollywood UTV ACTION is the one who premieres most Hollywood Dubbed Hindi Movies but Yes It is useless .

I think @iDJ bro pointed that how many films have been premiered on UTV Movies after Disney Fox Merger.
Regarding Renewals
Mashaal, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, Kohra etc were aired on UTV Movies after Disney-Star merger

Premieres might not have happened but most of the new films got aired on UTV Movies in quick succession after its telecast on primary flagship chs. Also certain films r kept reserved to main flagship chs as acquisition cost is high and ad rates for main chs r more, airing on 2ndary chs may achieve ratings but revenue remains less... Also some films r kept flagship chs exclusive just so as to have a unique proposition for it.

Mashaal, Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai etc too premiered either on star gold 2 or star utsav movies.

Pre disney acquisition of star/fox, UTV Movies did not have 1st output deal with any banner.... initially when launched and owned by UTV it had syndication deal with zee then slowly it started acquiring films from library companies and entered sharing agreement with viacom18 where viacom18 library films got aired on it. Meanwhile UTV Production Films 1st output deal was initially with star india (then owned by Fox) and later zee had this agreement wherein UTV (disney) reserved second output select airings for itself.... Now All UTV Motion Pics or Spotboy library is shifting to star/disney.
Jagga Jasoos was only movie to have premiere on UTV Movies as maybe zee agreement ended by then. Thhere would b some smaller films too which premiered on UTV Movies

When was last time sony aired its home production Saanwariya , i have not seen it even in watershed hrs.
Also looking forward to who renews Khele Hum Jee Jaan Se and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Yesterday was going thru UTV Motion Pics filmograhy and there r films which r solely produced+distributed by them which will ofcourse move to star/disney but then there r films co produced and distributed with other banners or just distributed by them. Tried decoding how respective broadcasters got rights of such films at this time and who is likely to get them now thru renewal but unfortunately could not.... Too much confusion. Who sold satellite rights then and who owns now i just did not get the answer.
Rowdy Rathore is a surprise to come on star/disney as if Bhansali Production held rights then it should have gone to viacom18 bcoz when i notice similar co produced movies mostly i can notice that at that time UTV themselves sold satellite rights to broadcaster it had ongoing agreement with at that point but later the other producers got hold of rights and sold it to broadcaster they had agreement with. There were exceptions like Red Chillies or Dharma Productions who held rights at that point too and same remains the case now. Interestingly all films involving UTV in 2012 were sold to sony, i guess this was the period when star india agreement ended and zee agreement was yet to begin.

Similarly i am confused how sony got rights of Talaash (2012), if i remember correctly star india had ongoing agreement with excel films at that point and the other producer Aamir Khan Productions too had agreement with star india only exception being that Taare Zameen Par premiered on zee.

All in all quite complex to find out who will get to renew rights of such films

I think talaash 2012 higher chance to zee via excel entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions both.

New Year has seen lot of renewals from Zee and Star
Since Zee is closing in on the merger we will get to see The Khiladi Marathon on Sony Channels as well.
With Zee Buying the Keshu Ramsay Films Catalogue All Khiladi Films irrespective of producers will stay with Sony-Zee.
Zee I think is making amends with its old time friend Goldmines. Most of the film which Zee had taken rights were owned by Goldmines previously. Time Magnetics Films have been removed from Goldmines as well.
New Arrivals on Sony - Zee will be as follows
Mr and Mrs Khiladi
Vijaypath
The Hero Love Story of a Spy
Kismat
Kurukshetra
Krishna etc

Can anyone tell We Are Family movie had TV premiere on which channel? Was trying to find out if Ekk Main aur Ekk Tu has chances of being renewed by star/disney but totally confused as Dharma has had films released in 2012 going to diff broadcasters then and all were co produced ones but now all went to viacom18 except Ekk Main aur Ekk Tu
