Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

Plan A Plan B joins the list of countless Netflix movies which don’t have a satellite partner. That’s a shame since it would be nice for this rom-com to be shown on TV.

As an aside, no film starring Jitendra Kumar (of Kota Factory and Panchayat fame) has ever had a satellite partner, be it Chaman Bahar, Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan or Jaadugar more recently.

I had seen Sony max as satellite partner for shubh Mangal zyaada saavdhan.

So I think satellite rights will go like this:-
Kannada - Colors
HINDI - Sony
Tamil, Telugu & Malyalam - Disney-Star or Zee

Mostly movies release on Amazon Prime, have their satellite rights mostly Sony and some Zee (Like Good Newzz)

This is not just an ordinary airing, this is a renewal airing by Viacom of Gandhi

I last saw it on Zee Bollywood in early morning slot on Gandhi Jayanti back in 2018

As Sony is in exit mode.......rather than promoting best or Excellent movie, They are promoting weak bollywood movies & Weak South Hindi Dubbed on Sony Max & Sony Wah
Like Nikamma, Anek, Kahani Mein Twist, Yeh Hai Zindagi

Upcoming Weak movies Like - HIT & Ek Villain Returns will also be promoted

They don't want to Schedule or promote any Excellent Movie other than KGF....
