The presentation and top notch quality Sony offers is second to none. I have so much memories attached with Sony. Although in recent years their acquisition has been very bad they've always been finding a good ground.
If you look at this, sony spent less in content acquisition than previous year

The reason i am a star fan because they always preferred Bollywood movies first they are not trp hungers like sony who just wanted to be no 1 by just showing South movies and now sony is seeing side effects of these no studio except t series wants to collaborate with them and now they are also loosing many old movies rights and after the launch of dhinchaak they are also loosing South movies and now they are in a hope for a merger with zee and star has always played smartly they ended association with T-Series at the right time because from 2015 90 percent of their movies are trash and from 2016 sony is getting that trash and in post pandemic era they have slowed down in acquisitions because films weren't working and your sony toh didn't even supported yrf in their bad times but star supported them so these are reasons i like star
