If because of merger then jio studios should have also gone to them and they are also finding difficulties with cci so till the last moment they are chances of cancellation and hritik is having good relations with star and Viacom18 has sold their movies to star in past also like bmb SOS kahaani and bmb SOS worked out well for them

Despite being a well made mass film it didn't worked on colors Cineplex but it may do decent on star gold just like rowdy Rathore didn't worked on max but it did huge on star similarly Milkha didn't worked on colors but it was a success on star colors hoping that merger gets completed so colors library will get much needed boost but there is problem with Vikram vedha that even original Tamil version didn't worked on star I am still doubtful that whether remake will be a success on star or not

Most probably colors Cineplex will be converted into proper south dubbed channel and star gold will be handling colors Bollywood library
