Discussion Satellite rights of Hindi movies

Just wondering if from 1st June some fresh films will shift to star and get aired on Star Gold. Also Krrish seems to be moving over to Zee possibly next month too or very soon, so r all the UTV films to star. Then Sony will just have VVC films, T Series which i again think star might go for once agreement expires.... Sony in tightspot, either let go or renew at high price... If they had handful of banners with them then such problem would not hv arised

They have to renew it they don't have any other option. Goldmines has launched their movie channel so now They have to ramp up Bollywood space. Besides T-Series and VVC. Sony only has active partnerships with Goldmines, NH Studioz and BR Films(if they are the sole producers). There is ABCL and Goldie Behl but they are once in a while makers. SPN is ramping up its productions to ensure content. Firoz Nadiadwala too is coming on July

Also seems like some older Ajay Sir's films agreement with star is over... Singham, Vihaypath, Haqeeqat, Itihaas, etc not there in coming days schedule or maybe just being rested though chances r less for this. Sony might get these . Star will somehow get other Ajay Sir movies from Shemaroo, Ultra etc... Like happened after their deal ended with Salman Sir

Vijaypath and Haqeeqat are with N. R. Pachisia which is one of the few partners which has remained loyal to them. So I think no chance of going to another network

Sony have most probably having deal with Rising sun's films also. From there they will get movies like gulabo sitabo, sardar uddham singh and upcoming ones. And yes the other production houses like T series, vvc films, firoz A nadiawala etc will stay for long with sony
And yes as u said SPN also started to produce more films.
