Well nothing worked as suggested by you guys. Tech support guy changed STB and charged 275 for new box, 150 for visit.

This is 3rd STB this year, earlier 1st changed free than for 250. Must say, pathetic software. And thanks everyone for your time.

Hardware warranty is for 1 year. You should have denied paying the replacement cost. Raise a complaint to CC.

Sorry couldn't update as went out of town. Got free HD for 6 months, 1 month extension in validity as refund was not possible. Swapping within a year is free they told and was some miscommunication among themselves.

For me the solution was to press there 4 buttons (Green button + 0 button + 5 button + mute button) on the boot screen.
