SCV new package now on their website

is there anyone here who was actually using STB while in CAS? i recently moved to digital. i feel the price of the channels is almost similar to that of CAS. in cas any channel was 5.70Rs. now we have different channels for differnt price.. but the average works to almost same as CAS. correct me if im wrong because i was in analogue while in CAS

Yes, seems like a lot of change. I currently dont have the old infos, so only using infos from DDF to compare, But the latest links are not updated on the website, it still shows no links so may be they are still updating or waiting for permission from someone.

It clearly looks like SCV going towards DTH pricing for CAS packages.

Instead of going to this people for this cost i would better move to some DTH for 300 Rs package for almost all the channels, plus better mobility and quality.

I shall wait for one more month and see if TCCL and SCV agree terms and again put people in misery, otherwise if SCV offers better prices for good package or if TCCL takes over LCO then i may continue else DTH is the only choice.

I went to scv office today.... bad news is that .. eff mar 1 scv gold pack was cancelled(there is no way to add scv gold here after).. so i cant able to add scv gold.. they i chose scv diamond + sony six - total cost = 100+180= 280( i paid for two months)
.. another is mega group chaneels are not transmitted to scv... it will take time to add mega musiq, mega 24 , sony mix, nat geo music etc..

I don't understand 100+180, what price are they.

SCV Diamond pack is 235 + 12.36% taxes. So it should come around 260 rupees. I think he included 100 rupees for local cabke operator. In DAS no need to pay amount seperately for LCO.

Velmurugan: check and ask about the details. Also SCV gold pack was there and shown in INFO channel till yesterday.

Any idea why the SCV website doesnt have the DAS details? Always the link is missing, the other link that we have is from their server and not linked for public use.

Now u can see the changes in SCV info channel... in scv office, they ask me to confirm ur cable operatr .. bcoz in chenai many cable opraors r changing to tccl.. so i called my cable oprator at the time scv bill paymetn.. my oprtaor said just make two months payment... Soon scv will be vanished throught out chennai... TCCL WILL BE THE ONLY ONE MSO IN INNER CHENNAI

I just met my LCO for asking him to disconnect my cable TV connection. My set top box was 4 years old. So, I dont want to return it to him. I said, I shifted it to my other home in Chennai and shifted to DTH. Last month I didn't paid the subscription. So, he asked me to pay Rs.100/= and I paid.

And..

I noticed the notice board. I found ony SCV Tamil and SCV Platinum packages only (also the A-la-carte list). It is the same that I downloaded from SCV website.

I asked the LCO about missing Tamil channels which are listed in the packages. He said, works are going on to add them. Also said, about 500 channels are going to be added.



I immediately asked whether you moving out of SCV. He replied YES!! From the mid of this month or from the start of next month he is moving to TCCL!!!. I tried to get the channel list of TCCL so asked. He said, he is not having that and asked me to check about it next month..

So TCCL is entering Velachery!!!!! SCV OUT!!!!!!!

Yes dude!! Once TCCL launched in Velachery, I may be going gor Cable TV based on their channel offerings. If they are really giving useful channels in their 500 count, I will go with selective channels in a-la-carte (if they are offering a-la-carte)...
