Great news and what a maneuver. Unbelievable trajectory. They raised and lowered altitude in a single orbital period. Great job by SES. Once the slight oscillations are stabilized we could see TPs activating again.

Now it will be stabilized and further tested for next few days and then tp allocation will be done so roughly it will be 1 month provided ADTV, SES and ISRO work in cooperation

1 tp on ses 9 equates to 1.4 tp space on normal 36 Hz tp so even with less no of tps we will see more HD channels also because ADTV Uses most advanced compression technology

The SES-9 satellite hosts 57 high-power Ku-Band transponders, equivalent to 81 standard 36 MHz transponders. Total payload power is 12.7 Kilowatts.
