The PTI report said Sony is understood to be studying the proposal - though it got no confirmation from either of the two parties.
The report added that Zeel had – despite all the litigation between the two that hit the headlines following the dropping of the merger plan by Sony – had never stopped trying to bury the hatchet and that it was the former which had approached the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to enforce the fusion between the two.
