I guess, they drops their planning for launching regional sports channels. Only SS1 Hindi will survive due to its high demand.
SS1 Tamil may replace with SS3 HD.

Post IPL upto ISL star sports network is almost blank of popular events(except Asiacup,Indias cricket etc)Mainly they lost most of cricket board rights.their current channels are enough to broadcast the biggest Ipl.So launching Star sports 3 what they do with that? There are enough channels for them to broadcast F1,premiere league etc. Otherwise they have to buy new rights.
