No way. Atleast they won't think about shut down SStamil till IPL expires from them. Because of the power of CSK in IPL. They have to do more with SS tamil at IPL, targeting heavy fans of CSK.

Separate channel for Tamil viewers. But what is the fault of other region?

Because the market is large after Hindi. Also huge fan base for sports teams which is diehard.

people are against regional sports channels they say waste of tp space audio feed is enough when there are way more waste channels

not much differene in market size between telugu and tamil and even other teams like rcb has die hard fans

Why not for other region like Bangla, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Malayalam?
If they shelved the planning for SS1 Kannada for SS3, it's clearly indicates that they have no mood to launch separate sports channel for various regions, at least for now.

But ss1 tamil will be not closed !! If they dropped ss1 kannada plan , its not mean that they will drop ss1 tamil also , surely they will launch ss1 tamil hd too !!
It's clearly shows after launching ss1 tamil , they might have change there separate regional channel launch ! They thought ss1 tamil enough

At least, we bengalis don't want SS1 Bangla. Bengali commentary for any match has given us like comedy feeling. We bengalis are satisficaly enjoyed hindi commentary.
