I am thinking whether sun will apply the same strategy for Kannada and Telugu as well. The new 'Blue' Sun Life, Udaya Life (rebranded from Udaya News), Gemini Life (rebranded from Gemini News) might be aligned as second GECs in their respective markets. Content-wise, hardly no new content would be a fit as Sun Ntework lacks quality programming. They can surely attain success by re-telecasting the old all-time-hit shows which were highly popular.
Regarding the logo, this might be a different strategy; we might see different colors for different genres in future. For example; Sun, Udaya, Gemini and Surya will retain the yellowish-orange look. All 'Life' channels will be blue, 'Movies' become light blue, 'Music' become green and 'Comedy' become pink or something like that. The kids' channel will remain as they are and 'SUN NEWS' might have a total rebrand with a different, more 'newsy' logo.
