Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah - News, Updates & Discussions

What if Daya had crush on Iyer? What if she flirted with him infront of Babita and Jethalal? Would viewers find it funny and appropriate?
they would never do that , they have always shown how genuinely she is loyal and only cares about his husband and her family and addresses other male as his brother/bhai like that giving them respect even others think of daya as sister/big sis dayaben /daya bhabi ( in respectful manner) ( genuine respectably called) and even dayaben calls others bhide bhai , iyer bhai etc only closest brother is sundarlal as her fav brother lives faraway in Ahmedabad. even other men when interacting with her would get a sister like vibe the way she gave respect even to those thiefs and don who kidnapped her in earlier eps and others etc.

we cant compare her with the way &tv serial bhabhi word sadly used as a flirting way, thankfully this serial though it does feel annoying seeing jetha doing flirting he never calls babita as bhabi , and only bhabita ji , for others whoever he calls anjali bhabi , madhvi bhabi calls and gives them respect and converse like a how brother would talk with sister. starting some eps flirting was understandable to some extent , now after a long time feels forced or annoying flirting which he does with bhabita.. ( ji is word used for respect to others , it doesnt mean calling someone ji and and flirting with them is good)

flirting others wouldn't suit her character in the serial even audience would never accept it , even in serial eps she barely flirts with her husband in with shyness to an extent.

It just amazing how Indians who are mostly conservative find a married men hitting and flirting with another married women infront of her husband funny and not inappropriate. Imagine the outrage if it was a International series or a bollywood movie. It would come to discussions on our culture.
