Ranjith – Rajinikanth film to kickstart from mid-May


The much-awaited reunion of director Pa. Ranjith and Superstar Rajinikanth is all set to go on floors. Dhanush, who will be producing the movie, has confirmed that the project will kickstart from mid-May





Rajinikanth is currently on a break after completing Shankar’s magnum opus 2.o. Ranjith is busy with the pre-production work for the project, which may have Vidya Balan playing the lead heroine

Vijay Sethupathi and Balaji Tharaneetharan team up for ‘Seethakathi’


The rip-roaring Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom combo is back. Yes, Vijay Sethupathi and director Balaji Tharaneetharan are teaming up for a film titled Seethakathi



The movie, which also happens to be the 25th project of Vijay Sethupathi, will be jointly produced by Sudhan Sundaram, Umesh, Jayaram, and Arun Vaidyanathan under the banner Passion Studios.
“Excited indeed! Words of expression are few when a sort of reunion happens beyond emotional connect


We are aware that the expectations will be very high and we are equally confident that this film will match up to it. The shooting will be commencing from 24th of April,” said Balaji Tharaneetharan in a statement

"I DON'T AGREE TO THIS AS IT TARGETS RAJINI AND VIJAY ALONE"


Superstar Rajinikanth and Ilayathalapathy Vijay are the stars with huge box office command. With such a big stature the responsibility and risks are also high. When their films make heavy loss these two actors more than anyone else will be targeted and the distributors and theatre owners/exhibitors will seek compensation from them.
P.Kannappan who is an experienced film producers, distributor and also an exhibitor raises a valid question to his own folks regarding this, in his interview to IndiaGlitz.
"I don't support this practice. Rajinikanth and Vijay are the only two people who are targeted every time when their films make loss. I don't know why not the distributors and exhibitors go to other actors/stars when the respective actor's films incur losses. Kamal Haasan is the only exception in this issue. Because he has almost stopped doing films for other producers. Either profit or loss that goes to him only. But all other actors get away before three months of release after getting their full salary. No one asks any compensation from other actors. I request them to ask compensation from all heroes when their films make loss instead of targeting Rajinikanth and Vijay alone."

PREMAM' DIRECTOR'S IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT HIS TAMIL FILM


Director Alphonse Puthren whose last film 'Premam' is one of the huge blockbusters in the history of Malayalam cinema and also completed 100 days of theatrical run in Chennai is expected to make a comeback in Tamil. There were talks regarding his Tamil film for quite sometime.
Now the filmmaker who made his debut in Tinsel town with the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual 'Neram' has confirmed in his Facebook post, that his next film which will be his third film as a director, will be a Tamil film.
He has also stated that he is in search of a suitable girl to play the lead heroine who should be knowing Tamil and music, preferably Carnatic music.

Alphonse Puthren has not revealed any other details about the project and he has kept the details of the male lead as a secret. So we will have to wait for some more time to know whether his next film in Tamil will be with STR or any other actor

AISHWARYA RAJESH REPLACES AMALA PAUL IN THIS BIG TICKET PROJECT

Sources reveal that Amala Paul will not be a part of director Vetrimaran's dream project 'Vada Chennai' anymore


Last year when Amala shifted her full focus on acting career after separating from her erstwhile husband director Vijay, 'Vada Chennai' was one of the first films she got committed to play the lead role with Dhanush. Samantha was supposed to play the role but it later went to Amala has Samantha had to back out of the project.
But now Amala has become busy with multiple projects that include 'Thiruttu Payale 2', an untitled film with Vishnu Vishal and 'Bhaskar Oru Raskal' among others. After completing the first schedule there was quite a long gap in the progress of 'Vada Chennai' and the shooting resumed only last week.
Amala has opted out of the project citing date clash with her other films and she has been replaced by another highly talented performer Aishwarya Rajesh.
We will have to wait for an official confirmation from the makers of 'Vada Chennai' which will be a trilogy film on the history of underworld politics in North Chennai

OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION ON 'VIVEGAM' TEASER RELEASE DATE



It has been officially confirmed that the much expected teaser of Thala Ajith's 57th film 'Vivegam' will be launched on May 1, 2017 to celebrate the lead actor's birthday. This will definitely be a sumptuous treat for the Thala fan


It was in the month of February this year, IndiaGlitz had reported that the teaser will be released on May 1st ALSO READ: Wow! ' Vivegam' release plans on Ajith and Vijay Birthdays. Now the makers have officially confirmed the same.
The final schedule of shooting of 'Vivegam' is currently happening in Belgrade near Bulgaria, Reports suggest that the film's editor Antony Ruben has reached the shooting spot to do spot editing and get ready with the teaser on time


'Vivegam' is an international spy thriller directed by Siva and producer by Sathya Jyothi Films on a grand scale. Anirudh Ravichander is providing the music score for the film

The costliest film in Dhanush's career so far

Actor Dhanush resumed shooting for the first part of the 'Vada Chennai' trilogy directed by Vetrimaran. The film is being produced by Dhanush under his Wunderbar Films banner.
The makers have so far completed one long shoot schedule. It is learnt that the expenses of this schedule has exceeded the total budget of 'Visaranai', Dhanush's previous production venture with Vetrimaran.
It is also said that 'Vada Chennai' will be the costliest film in Dhanush's acting career.
The film stars Dhanush and Amala Paul in lead roles while Andrea, Samuthirakani, Daniel Balaji, Kishore, Karunas and Pawan will be seen in important roles Santhosh Narayanan is the music director of this mega project

PLOT OF RAJINI-DHANUSH-RANJITH movie


The 'Kabali' fever is likely to revisit again this May as Superstar Rajinikanth and Ranjith are all set to begin shooting their new movie produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films banner. We were one amongst the first to report that the shooting of the film will be predominantly in Mumbai.


Now news has surfaced that 'Thalaivar 161' is based on the life of famous Tamil don Haji Masthan who ruled Mumbai in the eighties and nineties in the field of real estate and film financing. He was considered a hero by the Tamil Muslim community in Mumbai. Masthan had the habit of wearing white dresses, shoes and also travelled in a spec white car. Even to just imagine the Superstar in stylish white itself is enough to bring goosebumps to his fans and looks like the Rajini-Dhanush-Ranjith combo have a winner in their hands

SIVAKARTHIKEYAN'S 'VELAIKKARAN' FIRST LOOK ON THE MOST APPROPRIATE DATE



May 1 has dual significance as far as Kollywood and its fans are concerned. One it is the Labour Day Holiday and two it is the Birthday of Thala Ajith Kumar. While last year we got to watch the World Record setting 'Kabali' teaser on May 1st,this year we will be getting to watch the first teaser of Ajith's 'Vivegam'.
Now it has been confirmed that it is not just 'Vivegam' teaser that is going to come as a feast for Thala fans as well as Tamil movie buffs . We will also be getting to view the First look poster of Sivakarthikeyan's 'Velaikkaran' directed by Mohan Raja on May 1, 2017


Given the title and the fact that Sivakarthikeyan's character is that of a low level employee in the film, it is most appropriate to have the First look release on the Labour Day


'Velaikkaran' is being produced by RD Raja under his 24AM Studios banner and the film stars Nayanthara, Fahad Faasil, Sneha, Prakash Raj and RJ Balaji along with Sivakarthikeyan. Anirudh Ravichander is the music director
