S/O Satyamurthy’s succees meet date fixed

The magical combination of Allu Arjun and Trivikram Srinivas have once again given a huge success in the form of S/O Satyamurthy. Inspite of getting mixed reviews, the film is doing thumping business all over and has collected close to 35 crores after the end of its first week.
To thank the audience for making their film a huge hit, the makers have planned for a thanks giving meet on the 18th of this month in Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad. The entire unit is going to be present and make the event a grand success.

Bollywood beauty to romance Sharwanand

After the much needed successes of his last two releases, ‘Run Raja Run’ and ‘Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju’, Sharwanand is gearing up for his next film which will be launched soon. Directed by Merlapaka Gandhi of ‘Venkatadri Express’ fame, this yet to be titled entertainer will be produced by UV Creations. According to the latest reports, the makers have zeroed in on the film’s leading lady.
Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani, who made a successful debut with the hit drama ‘Fugly’, has been roped in to sizzle beside Sharwanand. Even though the production house has not made it official, reports say that Kiara has been confirmed by the makers.

‘Pataas’ to be remade soon

The most successful mass action entertainer, ‘Pataas’, gave a never before success to its actor and producer Nandamuri Kalyanram. Released early this year, the film collected around 25 crores worldwide and raked in double the profits for all parties involved. The film will now be remade into Tamil starring popular hero Jiiva.
Senior producer and Jiiva’s father, RB Chowdary, has Pataas’ Tamil remake rights and he is planning to get the film on floors soon after Jiiva finishes his current assignments. At the moment, RB Chowdary is busy scouting for the right director to helm this project and the film’s cast and crew will also be confirmed soon.

First look of Samantha’s next tonight

Of late, Samantha is being flooded with accolades for her performance in ‘S/O Satyamurthy’. The actress now has a handful of interesting scripts in her kitty and the foremost being ‘10 Enradhukulla’, Samantha’s most ambitious film. The first look of the film will be unveiled tonight on the eve of its hero, Vikram’s 49th birthday.
In most of her recent interviews, Samantha said that ‘10 Enradhukulla’ is one film she has been very happy and excited to be a part of and that this is her dream role. Sam will also be seen performing risky stunts in the film.
Directed by cinematographer turned director Vijay Milton, ’10 Enradhukulla’ is being produced by Murugadoss and Fox Star Studios. The film will be released in June

Lion release date confirmed

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest action entertainer Lion is gearing up for a massive release all over. Directed by debutante Satyadev and produced by Rudrapati Ramana Rao, Balakrishna will be seen in a dual role and the movie is expected to carry all the commercial elements which will amaze his fans and the film lovers.
As announced earlier, the makers have confirmed that the movie will release grandly on 1st of May as a Summer treat for the audience. Trisha Krishnan and Radhika Apte are the female leads in this flick . Mani Sharma has scored tunes for this flick and the audio has been released recently.

Three movies set to clash this Friday

Friday is the conventional day which is generally preferred by the producers to release their movies. This week, three movies are ready for a clash at the box office.
One of them is Mani Ratnam’s romantic entertainer Ok Bangaram. This flick is carrying a lot of positive buzz and it is releasing in a grand way to entertain the audience. This movie will face a stiff competition with the horror thriller Ganga, which is a sequel to Kanchana. Directed by Raghava Lawrence, this movie has already earned good points among the audience with its hair raising posters.
Apart form these two big movies, Vaaradhi, a romantic entertainer will also hit screens this Friday. Directed by Satish Karthikeya, this movie has Kranthi, Hemanth and Sri Divya in the lead roles. Lets us see which of these movies will gain the upper hand at the box office.

Ajith finally finds a sister

It is a known fact that the makers of Tala Ajith’s upcoming flick are on the lookout for a young actress to play the sister’s character for Ajith in his next flick. Earlier, it was heard that either Bindu Madhavi or Nitya Menon will be seen in this role. But, both the actresses have opted out of the film.
It has now been officially announced that Lakshmi Menon, a model who appeared in Tamil and Malayalam movies, has been confirmed to play Ajith’s sister in this flick. This flick will be helmed by Souryam fame Siva and Shruthi Haasan is playing the female lead.
This project was launched recently and AM Ratnam is the producer.

“Ganga” bags U/A, releasing tomorrow

Till now there is a doubt if Lawrence’s latest movie “Ganga” is hitting Telugu cinemas tomorrow or not. But now all decks are cleared with Censor Boar issuing a certificate for the movie after they are screened with the film today afternoon.
For its rawness and horror, “Ganga” bagged U/A certificate from the board. Due to incompletion of Censor formalities, all these days ticket counters of the film are not opened online. As the film got censored now, producer Bellamkonda Suresh and distributor Dil Raju are now ensuring that the film will hit cinemas smoothly tomorrow i.e., April 17th.
Directed by Lawrence, the film features himself in the lead role, while Taapsee and Nitya Menon are essaying crucial roles. It happens to be an out and out horror movie.
