They have upgraded their encoder so so now it should support more than 56 SD chs on one 36 Mhz tp

bro they decreaded FEC to much earlier they are using 5/6 which provides 79.. mbit/s bandwidth but now they are using 2/3 FEC which provides some 62-64.. mbit/s bandwidth. even 48 SD channels are only possible in this FEC due to new encoders :k

It is not permanent, it's just a matter of time for them to revert back to old FEC :k

yeah after monsoon we can see that they will revert back it to 5/6 and after that each tp of tata sky exclude home tp will able to carry 59-60 SD / 14-15 HD channels :K hya

bro low FEC means like FEC [2/3 and 3/4] cause less signal loss compare to FEC 5/6 which will cause more signal loss but more FEC means more Bandwidth, more channels.... :k
