I think no chance of gsat10 migration .Chances of AS7&8 migration to start within few months

Brother, they requested gsat10 for additional capacity, not as a replacement of insat 4a,. And as far as far as reduced power of insat 4a, it will impact its lifespan.

GSAT10 was never meant for additional capacity, according to CAG report it's a replacement/backup satellite of INSAT 4A. ICC in it's 70th meeting clearly noted that Tata sky got extra preference than all other dth players as Tata sky was 5th in list for getting satellite but actually got as 2nd. ICC meeting also formulated a plan in which additional capacity will be met according to first come first serve basis & in that case Tata sky is last one.

What I can't understand for whose ISRO put GSAT 16(12 Ku)@ 55 degree east & will launch GSAT 15( 24 Ku only for dth) this year @ 93.5 degree east.

But ts have given "first right of refusal" and allow it to migrate to a foreign satellite acc. to cag report

In tatasky current softwere update they increse gsat 10 tp & reduse asisat 8 & insat 4a tp. So tatasky use gsat 10
