Broadcasters will work 24X7 now to find out the way to double cross the consumers and loot them either by hook or crook. Then again TRAI will be held responsible for bringing the new regime and making public fool. One thing is good that they have kept 200 channels in ₹153 NCF and maximum of NCF is kept at ₹160.
Still it's not a complete move on NCF. They should have introduced lesser NCF or slabs so that we can increase our channel count. But maximum NCF is a good point.

Look, wherever we discussed here since last 3 days, after revealing the new channel price by broadcasters, we can clearly see that they are not going to follow TRAI's order and they are increasing the price of bouquets and channels. It was expecting by me that it's not possible for them to reduce the channel price at such low Rs 12 because of one by one channel selection option which is bad for their business.

They are investigating money on so many projects, tv shows, for paying them salaries, buying satellite rights of the movie etc. So many people work here in television media.. If subscribers become so choosy on channel selection then they have to increase the price of channels or have to shutdown some tv shows..

I don't accept the other stories that they are looting us all the time. Look they are here to do business. They want to make profit which Star Network could not do last year if you read their financial report.. Government can't control how much profit they can make. And we should not hate rich guys (actors, directors) they are backbone of the economy, they pay tax. So don't be jealous..

So ultimately Broadcasters are going to court against this rule and we have to pay more for every channels.. No other countries will let you choose channel one by one which was very stupid move by Ram Sewak Sharma, 65.

Literally all the popular channels went from 1-3rs to 19rs under the tariff order.
Anyone can show loss once they start to loot and put it under salary and perks for the top management like what the telecom providers did all these years instead of paying their dues. I don't know what you're smoking.

I don't smoke. Ofcourse they can do that and you can't do nothing except not taking their channels.

Who put limit of ₹12. Trai put a limit of ₹12 only when it's needed to add in a bouquet.
If subscribers become so choosy on channel selection
What products do you buy like the way in old regime? ie, buying unwanted combos.
Take this example, earlier Asianet from Star network had a price of just above ₹5 and now it's ₹19. Even if it is made to ₹12 do they loss anything. If yes they can put a price of their wish and put out of bouquet offers.
Till the new regime broadcasters gained only of cheap marketing by providers and not because of broadcasters skill. Now every broadcaster should work on their on and make money. IMO now there is a space for fair competition.
Trai should have put bouquet offer cap of 20% or even scrap bouquet sheme instead of new 33.33% cap. No man watch something looking on logo or owner of a channel and looks only quality and content
