5. Sony to have exclusive set of shows for TV. Just like they are doing tor Sony LIV. I already see them taking linear channels off Sony Liv and have seperate digital feed for Sony Liv.

2nd day of the year. This happened already. Sadly it started from a show like Shrimad Ramayan which is just sad as that show is associated with people's faith. I hope Sony reconsiders and add this show on Sony LIV.

PAN INDIA TV CHANNELS which telecast their shows atleast Serials in all Indian languages including English, from Episode 1.

Which will reduce the cost of production and improve overall rating, since that channel will be watched all over India. Where Some serials were produced in multiple languages in same network BUT THE ORIGINAL QUALITY not achieved in remakes.

We all know that, what happened to ETV Kannada after Viacom18 bought it. They rebranded with their brand only. Now Colors Kannada is one of the successful channel for the Network. In this Viacom18 - Star merger case also it may happen

Sony network serials are already dubbed and telecasted in Raj TV and Polimer TV.
Instead they can directly telecast in their own channel with Tamil Original serials too.

Big budget shows like Srimad Ramayana will attracted to many audiences like star's Mahabharata did wonders in TN.

Deja vu from colors tamil. Honestly it's too difficult now to crack Tamil Market. I don't see any success story after Zee Tamil.

Sony is already struggling in Marathi market despite having good content. They would be least interested in regional expansion that too in territory like south. Now there is no space for acquisition too.
