Picture quality of HD channels in dishtv is no 1 in India compared to my HD channels in d2h and tatasky on Samsung led .hbo defined with dolby 5.1 I feel theatre in my home but sd pic quality is worst.

Yeah SD channels are lagging in dishtv but we needs to wait until next year because they're going to start MPEG 4 service from SES 8 so it will help them to improve something in SD channels.

dish tv is the best even though it costs a little more .

reasons:

1)dish tv covers almost all sort of fields(hindi ent, eng ent, sports, kids, family, infotainment, regional etc)
2)if you see videocon , they give fantastic 306 channels for just 180rs but there is no eng ent, sports which are made add ons for high amount

except dish tv other companies have popular channels as add ons which are priced very high.

for example, sports pack in tata sky costs rs 51

ten cricket in tata sky costs rs 34

english movies pack costs rs 85

if you add them it would result in a high sum.

but dish tv cares in every aspect and gives channels of different types.
