Why is Channel V showing constantly repeated series?

I noticed when tuning into Channel V, why are they showing the same series again and again? Are they ever switching back to music? In my opinion they should make it a classic channel showing old Star Plus and STAR One shows because a lot of them are not on Hotstar.

Your thinking is right but Star already changed channel V license converted into Star Sports kannada will launch near future in the place of Channel V & for old shows of Star plus and Star One 2-3 years ago they announced Star classic channel but later Star changed plan & will not launch this channel

Channel V is going to shut down soon & will be replaced by Star Sports 1 Kannada (expected on this September/October)

Better to make Channel V a 24 hour English music channel replacing Nat geo Music,to have a tougher competition for VH1 and 9XO.

Star is not bothered about music channels (except Star Maa Music).
