Why is Channel V showing constantly repeated series?

Star is not bothered about music channels (except Star Maa Music).

But while the rivals have more than one music channels(hindi,even sony have) Star should have atleast one for a formality.

Zing is a youth channel & Zee ETC is a bollywood centric news channel.

Zee attempted to get presence in music channels through 9X network but unfortunately they lost it.

They are planning to launch a pure hindi music channel called & Music.

as they are planning to shut it down in future they are repeating same series. for re-airig old classic shows star already have star utsav channel .

Star utsav telecasting serials and programs of Star plus once telecasted. Though old but it can't be said as a classic channel. Channels like Star Utsav, rishtey etc are FTA Gecs focus on people which are unable to watch pay channels. Serials telecasted with delay from original network. But they won't show programs atleast before 10 or 15 years

FTA with a skew on the FTA audience will be very profitable
