I dont think political pressure for these two tamil channels.

Now, Tamilnadu arasu cable network is demanding minimum 63 Lakh per month for each FTA tamil channel to showing in TN Govt Cable.

Around 7.5 Cr per year is not affordable for all tamil tv channels.

So that, Tamil Satellite Television Broadcasters Association have plans to start MSO / new cable platform across tamilnadu and simultaneously they all looking slots for regional tamil channels in DD Free Dish Platform.

If DD Free Dish fix the slot rates for regional language wise depends on regional market, many indian regional channels is ready to add on DD Free Dish.

UFX is also a good channel available atleast in Dishtv & Zing..
But Polimer, Peppers, UFX are available in Arasu analog all over TN.

Arasu also provides some good channels like Mega Music, Mega24, MKTV, Shalini TV, 7S Music, SuperTV, ARRA & more for the benefit tamil viewers.

Sorry brother, I dont have exact data about cost difference, MSO and cable operator details in Chennai Metro and Rest of Tamilnadu.

TCCL is there in chennai, they doing good job.

For Rest of Tamilnadu, Tamilnadu Arasu (govt) Cable Network have more user base compared to private cable network.

Cable Television is unorganized platform in india, so its very difficult to get exact data.

i strongly believe these r all due to political issues that has been prevailing in chennai n entire tn since last many years. also bcoz of these political issues entire tamil nadu has never been digitized.

i wish these two good channels along with all other good tamil channels shud b added in all dth platforms.
