Essel Group-owned Direct to Home (DTH) operator Dish TV and D2H yesterday launched a new service channel ‘Girlfriend Active’ dedicated to the World Television Premiere of blockbuster Marathi Movie ‘Girlfriend’.
The service channel is available on D2H on channel number 760 and on Dish TV at channel number 1207. Marathi movie ‘Girlfriend’ is being played on the service channel on a loop with a run time of over 2 hours.
The service channel is available at a price of Rs 40 and comes with a lock-in period of 10 days. The price is however exclusive of GST. The service channel will be available for a period of 50 days from September 8 to October 27.
This is the second such service channel from Dish TV and D2H in the recent past with ‘Girgit Active’ launched in June to broadcast the World Television Premier of Tulu blockbluster movie ‘Tulu‘.
Released in July 2019, the movie takes a youth of the late 2010s, and how they navigate the mixture of reality and digital created by the phenomenon of social media.
