ET Now Swadesh all set to launch on October 4; programming lineup unveiled

After a few postponements, the newest Hindi business news channel from Times Network, ET Now Swadesh is going to launch on October 4th. It will be the second channel in the Hindi News genre by the network after the recent launch of Times Now Navbharat HD. Ahead of launch, the channel has unveiled details about it’s programming lineup and editorial team. 

ET Now Swadesh with a tagline ‘Badho Desh Ke Saath’ promises to be a catalyst of growth, energizing every discerning Indian to rise with India. The channel will also unveil its brand manifesto that reflects its unique proposition in it’s category. On launch day, a special brand film capturing the brand genesis will be released across the network channels and its social media handles. 

Bennett Coleman & Co. Ltd. (BCCL) will add ET Now Swadesh to Bouquet 1, 2, 3 and 4. This SD channel was initially scheduled to launch with effect from 1st September 2021, which was delayed to 1st October and then to 4th October.

Renowned business news anchor Nikunj Dalmia as the Managing Editor will lead this channel’s team of seasoned financial and business journalists including Mihir Bhatt, Pradeep Pandya, Kavita Thapliyal and Priyanka Anand.

Nine distinct shows including Khara Sauda, 10 Ka Bazaar, Your Stocks, Commodity Now, F&O Junction, Midcap Masti, Corporate Connections, Stocks Fatafat and Closing Call, to cover all business and markets will be aired in morning bands between 8 am to 4 pm. 

Khara Sauda is a morning prime time show at 8 am hosted by Nikunj Dalmia, Mihir Bhatt, Pradeep Pandya and Priyanka Anand. It will offer viewers an in-depth analysis of the current market trends, latest buzz in the dealing rooms, insights on what brokerages are betting on and also educate them on financial savings and creating long term wealth and investments. 

In the evening at 8 pm, ‘Swadesh Hour’ will be hosted by Nikunj Dalmia and Kavita Thapliyal. This will be a 1-hour special show that captures all the key information and news of the day. It will feature ‘Swadesh Hero’, whose inspiring story has made a difference in the lives of millions across our country.

The channel will introduce interactive and engaging content to differentiate itself from competing channels. It will aid viewers with money making ideas every 5 minutes, provide detailed analysis and perspectives on stocks & commodities, investment opportunities and personalised portfolio recommendations with insights & guidance from industry stalwarts like Nilesh Shah and Madhu Kela.

Times Network names Nikunj Dalmia as Managing Editor of ET NOW Swadesh

Times Network, India’s premium broadcast network, has named seasoned financial & business journalist, Nikunj Dalmia as the Managing Editor of its soon-to-be-launched Hindi Business News Channel, ET NOW Swadesh. In his new role, Nikunj will lead all editorial decisions and oversee the management of the channel besides continuing his role as the Managing Editor of the Network’s English Business News Channel, ET NOW, where he hosts the shows, The Market and Closing Trades.
