Eurosport India acquires AFC Women’s Asia Cup broadcast rights
AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 will act as the final stage of Asian qualification for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Discovery Network’s sports channel Eurosport has acquired the broadcast rights for the upcoming quadrennial international football tournament AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022. This tournament is hosted by India and will take place from January 20 to February 6.
Eurosport got the PayTV broadcast rights for India from Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), which currently holds media rights for all Asian Football Confederation (AFC) competitions in the Indian subcontinent region till 2024.
It is the 20th edition of the cup and is going to be held in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune featuring 12 teams divided into three groups. Group A consists of India, China PR, Taiwan and IR Iran while Australia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia are placed in Group B. Group C includes Japan, Korea Republic, Vietnam and Myanmar.
The linear television broadcast rights for this tournament are acquired by Eurosport and digital streaming rights are with JioTV. AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2022 will act as the final stage of Asian qualification for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
