Hathway offering HD set-top boxes free in Andhra Pradesh

Reliance Industries owned Multi System Operator (MSO) Hathway is offering its High Definition set-top boxes free of cost for household in Andhra Pradesh. Hathway’s authorized distributor for Andhra Pradesh has rolled out advertisements in Telugu’s largest daily news paper Eenadu promoting the offer.

A translated version of the advertisement reads, “Good news for Andhra Pradesh people and cable operators. Viewers hurry up. New revolution with the latest technology in cable TV industry. Colorful innovations on your small screen. HD set-top box free for every home.”

Finer details of the offer are unavailable but the same comes day after Hathway started offering new connections in Maharashtra with upto 70% discount wherein new customers bring home a Standard Definition connection at Rs 600 and get 6 months subscription of MH Platinum SD pack.

Apart from this those who pay Rs 1000 can get a new High Definition connection with 5 months subscription to the MH Platinum HD pack. The new connection offers have been heavily discounted with the HD pack offering dozens of HD channels.

DEN Networks is also going offering to heavy discounts on DRP of select a-la-carte and bouquet MRPs effective tomorrow in target markets.
