But you have to agree that most of the Telugu and Kannada films (I cannot say about Tamil) are action flicks and they are generally of the same type with the hero and the heroine dancing in songs. Intellectual films are very rare. In this regard Marathi is best. Combined with the terrible dubbing, the South films are really painful to watch.

I believe the wrong network is launching a 100% Bollywood channel. They are shutting down a classic channel in order to launch this channel. This means Sony Max 2 is the only 100% classic (plus late 1990s and early 2000s) channel. Instead of Zee, Sony should have launched a channel like Zee Bollywood and Star Gold Select, as they are the ones suffering despite their huge library including exclusive Yash Raj titles.

If Sony launches such a channel in HD it will be the best as the existing Sony Max HD is not that much interested in showing Hindi movies unless it is very early in the morning (5:30am).

Zee classic was airing 100% Bollywood movies, so what's the use of replacing pure Bollywood Channel with another one, just the library of this channel will be relatively new movies. Can't understand the strategy Zee classic is very good channel, they could have replaced that CRAP Zee Action. There is no point running that bogus Channel

Similarly Zee Premier was shut down in 2015. It was a good channel.

Their selection gone wrong.They have to retain Zee classic and get some more old movies renewed.Instead they have to rebrand Zee action.
