IN10Media’s Hindi music channel ShowBox is back on Dish TV and DD Free Dish after it being dropped last year. The channel celebrated its launch on platform in a completely new look as it rebranded and got a new logo, tagline and graphics package.
The channel has introduced a new brand identity with the slogan Dil Ki Suno. It is added on DD Free Dish after the 54th e-auction which was held on 9th August 2021. On Dish TV, viewers can watch it on channel number 4004 for free of cost through DD Free Dish tp.
After this latest expansion, now ShowBox is available on all DTH platforms- Airtel Digital TV, Tata Sky, Dish TV, DD Free Dish and Sun Direct except d2h. It is a 24×7 youth Hindi music channel offering a range of programmings such as interviews, unplugged music, chartbusters, interactive shows and more. It also provides a platform for local music and independent musicians.
The channel was launched in August 2019 as an FTA channel but about a year later in 2020 turned into a paid channel at Rs 0.10 per month which hurt its ratings. DD Free Dish has approximately 40 million users mainly in Hindi-speaking markets, now with revamped look and availability on that platform along with Dish TV, the broadcaster is aiming to get in the TRP leaderboard of this genre.
