Direct to Home (DTH) operator Tata Sky has recently launched the TN New Lite My Offer Win-back campaign for its deactivated subscribers in the Tamil Nadu region. Tata Sky is sending SMS to select subscriber base from DAS 2, 3, and 4 of Tamil Nadu, who have deactivated their connection for more than 30 days. The offer started on January 20, 2020, and will end on January 31, 2020.
DTH dealers can also check My Offer section in the mSales to find whether the subscriber is eligible for the offer. If the subscriber is eligible for the offer, the retailer will make a recharge of Rs. 1194 in the subscriber’s DTH account. After successful recharge, the dealer will change the existing pack to the Tamil Lite New pack. Subscribers will get the Tamil New Lite pack for six months.
The Tamil New Lite pack costs Rs. 199 per month including network capacity fee (NCF), and contains a total number of 26 standard definitions (SD) channels. It includes 12 Tamil regional channels, 4 sports channels, 3 knowledge and lifestyle channels, 2 Hindi news channels, one Hindi movie channel, one music channel, one English news channel, one Malayalam regional channel, and one other channel. This pack does not include any high definition (HD) channels.
Recently, DTH operator Tata Sky has reduced the price of the HD set-top box by Rs. 100. Now, the price of the HD set-top box is Rs. 1399.
