Times Network has recently dropped its English Movie channel Romedy Now HD from its Reference Interconnect Offer (RIO) and Channel Offerings indicating the shutdown of the channel.
The channel was initially dropped from BCCL RIO effective 10th June 2021 and continues to be unavailable in the recently amended RIO effective 1st August 2021.
As per TRAI regulations, pay broadcasters are mandated to notify the shutdown of a pay channel in advance with 30 days notice to the broadcasting watchdog and distribution platform operators.
Times Network additionally is launching Bouquet-6 effective 1st September 2021. The bouquet will offer ET Now Swadesh, Zoom, and Mirror Now at Rs 1.5 excluding GST.
BCCL will add ET Now Swadesh to Bouquet 1, 2, 3 and 4 effective 1st September 2021. The channel is set to commence its operations on the very same day.
Times Now Navbharat HD meanwhile will be available in Bouquet-3 and Bouquet-4. In addition, all bouquets that earlier offered Romedy Now HD won’t be offering the same post its shutdown.
